Hampstead Heath Detached House, London

Designing calm, character-led homes through materials sensitivity and spatial clarity.

Interiors where spatial clarity and tactile calm shape everyday living.

This compact new-build home explores a quiet dialogue between architecture, light, and modern craft.

From the outset, the design focused on unlocking spatial potential — using every inch with intention while maintaining a sense of calm, clarity, and generosity.

The layout was carefully planned to enhance light and flow, with a strong emphasis on connecting interior spaces to the garden. Large glazed openings dissolve the boundary between inside and out, allowing daylight to travel deep into the plan and drawing greenery into the heart of the home. An underutilised external corner was reimagined as a light-filled sitting area, transforming it into a calm, inhabitable moment rather than residual space. strengthen the sense of arrival.
